The Curz; PNW Members (Please Read)
Hi Northwest members, Tom here (Alfa02) Ok for the last 2+ years that's all I've heard is 'When is your car going be done, or Is it done yet' Well everyone Aug. 11 at 'The Curz' here in Port Orchard Wa. is the "Unveiling" and I need all the Cobras I can get to show up. The Saints car club has gave me as much space as I need for us Cobra owner to park together, just need a car count. I will be there at 4;30AM to rope off our area. So far I have 11-Roadsters and 2-Coupes, This show is the BIG show in our area (600+ cars), and a nice drive over to Kitsap Co. It will be the largest gathering of Cobras in the NW, and would love for you to be part of it, also I will have parking close to us with for those of you with 'real' Shelby cars I have 2-GT-350's, 1-GT-500, and a super rare 68 Cougar XR-7 GT-E with a (427) too. Here's the link, or if you have any question reach out to me (PM or Email) luxmantom@gmail.com, or just call if you like to talk on the phone (Like I do) 360 801 4510 Cheers Tom. Hi Tom,
I have a trailer reserved so if the weather co-operates I'll be bringing my little 289 to the show!

Hey Tom.. some of us can neither drive that far, nor believe it's really going to happen.. so you need to take lots of photos for those of us who have followed the saga and are not sure we believe... LOTS of photos. OK?

I promise Danny Boy, LOTS of photos & no photo shopping my car there, plus I wouldn't know how to do that anyway It's really happening my friend. The 'Saints' car club have gone above & beyond to make our Cobras welcome this year, and we'll do our best to show club spirit of our PNW owners (Club badges front & center) . Cheers Tommyrot.

Dan and Karl, Pictures as promised
So gentlemen, as promised LOTS of pictures, ok some pictures of the Cruz, in which "Metallica" the name given by some members of the Club, to my 427 Street Car (Hard metal sound to this 427S/O ), had it's unveiling, not quite finished, because of some AZ. car kept butting in on my Project (Tim & Jamie) Oh by the way, they just happen to win our class, Congrats you two. Anyway back to my saga, Brent (EM-0785) & I worked all day Sat. Polishing, waxing, etc. to tenth degree, Come Sunday morning we wake (4:00AM) to light drizzle, but dry roads, call's are coming in from club members, some have wet roads, others dry. By the way, it hadn't rained here in 45days, SOOOO my good luck Long story, longer 10 Cobras, 1-GT-500 (Thee Snake Charmer's car), and a soon to be Cobra owner in his Porsche Speedster, showed up (The most every at that show was 3-Cobras) I was told we were the HIT of the show, what with everyone putting their best foot forward, and sharing our cars & stories that go with them. Hope everyone enjoys our pictures, and stories to come, Club Member's promised to add to this post. Cheers Tom. I've tried 5-6 times to upload ANY pictures and NOTHING!!!! Sorry guy's the site won't let add pictures, try tomorrow.

OK, OK, OK Mr. Tommyrot,
What's a "CURZ"?
If you'd REALLY wanted to max out your car, you would have waxed it to the "N-th" degree, not just the tenth.
No pictures....didn't happen.

I think "Curz" means Cruise, you know a Car Cruise, or a Boat Cruise.

maybe someone can fix the spelling in the title? The original poster should be able to edit title.

Hi Tom (Group),
The Cruz was a lot of fun. Your car presented well, congrats on the unveiling. We sure do have a group of good folks. I really enjoy them. Also enjoyed the brownies from Mike and the cookie from Jaime! I’ll let you post the show pics, here’s one pic from our Sat. prep session. Brent

Tom, here are some real, live Cruz photos for you. That’s Tom with the green shorts and cigarette near his car and the Snake Pit sign, no denying that’s real! ☺ Brent

Bruce, you were missed, I’ll give you a simple synopsis of the day here.
Ok, the stories start coming out…
As you know, Tom’s a known talker, which we all enjoy.
The week of the show he was showing signs of becoming completely uncorked.
I said Tom, you’re gonna lose your voice on Sunday.
“NAAAAH…I’m not going to lose my voice!”
I’m just telling ‘ya, you’re gonna lose your voice on Sunday.
“NAAAAAAH…..!”
Well, I was a day off, but sure enough, Tom lost his voice on Monday! ☺
So, yes, Sunday delivered. Brent
