I had never heard of them, so I Googled them, went to their site, and it looks like it's one guy and four helpers. Now, maybe that one guy is God's gift to engine building, I don't know. But why would you not pick someone from this site, and other related engine building sites, that has put together literally hundreds of engines for us? And Oklahoma is a long way from Florida....

I believe Lance may be closer to you in Arkansas.
https://www.craftperformanceengines.com/
Then there is Brent Lykins in Kentucky - still closer than Florida.

Barry is in Michigan
Survival Motorsports - About Us
These are the top builders for FE for certain. They also build a lot of Windsor engines, well I'm not certain if Barry does. They are in order of proximity to you, so read nothing into the order.
Lance is a big shop building more engines. Brent perhaps is smaller and more personalized service. Barry is a well know engine masters contender and interviewed by magazines. All have treated this site well. In more recent times, know one has given as much time to helping and supporting this site, as Brent. He has treated me wonderfully.

"olddog" Thanks so much. I'll check each of the builders you suggested.

All three are excellent. And since OK used to be near Nebraska, or at least one state away, Gessford is another top notch shop. https://www.gessford.com/

I've had a 351W Engine Factory engine in my car since 2007. I've been happy with it.

we bought a half dozen engines from Craft over the years. When we had a couple of parts to fail, they fixed quickly.
It would be hard to find a better shop to build your motor.

To get to Florida. You would go past Southern Automotive Engines. Great people to work with and excellent service.
