427 racing windshield
Anyone know where to buy an authentic looking perspex racing windshield as fitted to racing cobras in SCCA events in the 60s & 70s? Any pictures of your cars fitted with racing windshields would be good!

427 racing windshield
This is SA factory supplied wind screen as I installed on CSX3018 in 1967,289 comp.wind screens are smaller.

Thanks Guys!
Great pictures. I like the single piece type as shown on CSX3018, so is Cobra Restorers the best place to buy one? The link that Mickmate posted is Cobra Restorers, but the screen looks smaller than the original SA screen shown on CSX3018 and also I notice it is big enough the require a cut-out for the wiper arm boss. I have pictures of CSX3003 at Meadowdale in 1968 (owned by Gene Cormany at the time), and it shows a very similar screen to CSX3018 - does anyone know who manufactures the bigger 427 screen?

Anyone have an updated source for these racing windshields? Every single link in this entire thread is a dead end sadly. I’d be interested to know where we can buy these

Sourcing in NH could be an experience to remember, caution.

I don't have the most experience in shaping metal, but I made my own base once.
Take an ally strip a bit longer than required, bend it to half the amount you like in the end.
Say 22 degrees. If you have a roller, roll it and watch how it curves and the 22 deg angle becomes steeper.
I have a sample in one of my boxes from a S/C. I think 3012. If I find it, and can log in again, I post a photo.
