Default Ray Brown Seat Belt labels

Not mine, but a fellow cobra nut has had these made up for his project .........

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302620316...c=1&rmvSB=true

Limited production run as there was a minimum order quantity.

Hi Kev

Saw them and had to buy some.

I've shared the link with an appropriate audience on the FB page too...

FYI,
The original date was stamped via an ink stamp with the month and a partial year.

Kevin

They've arrived and they're a lovely detail - another piece of the jigsaw clicked into place!

Just a question for the originality experts out there; were these style of belts fitted to 427's in period, as they were to 289's?

I've tried to find images of these belts fitted to 427's on the web and am currently struggling.

Anybody out there confirm yay or nay?

Best regards

lee

Yes original to 427's, at least in the 3100's

Jim C sells them without the date stamp, so you can hand stamp it like John B posted. Click the link below.

Yes indeed FOS in July

We have friends in Bognor Regis.

Yes, rain or shine I'll be there all four days.
I will drive in each day. Would love to meet up for a pint if that works out.

I ordered some for my belts, and would appreciate any photos of how they're supposed to look once installed, from an authenticity standpoint. Thanks!

Look through this thread. Dan added a lot of specific info for Ray Brown belts. My belts look like the ones Jeff Gagnon has with small labels.
correct 289 COBRA "impact" / "ray brown" seat belts

The photos in the other thread are not the best. So I did the research myself. Here's a photo from an original car showing what they're supposed to look like, or at least what they look like in CSX2344.
