FIA Cobra Dash Toggle Switch
Does anyone know where I can purchase some toggle switches for my FIA cobra build? Looking for the toggle switches that screw on to the dash using two screws (not the style that uses a trim ring to attach. Thanks.

I believe you're looking for the 1940s era Cutler Hammer radium tipped switches. I'm not aware of anyone reproducing these. They were used in WWII military aircraft applications, but I'm not sure of what else. There are currently a few on eBay.

The FIA switches are radium tipped and glow in the dark. They are from WWII aircraft. https://orau.org/health-physics-muse...le-switch.html
They are available from suppliers to warbird restorations. We bought a large lot of them for the Shelby and Superformance FIA cars. Here are some: https://www.google.com/search?q=ww+I...nt=products-cc
We may have exhausted the supply of NOS switches.

Yeah, when we bought up a large supply of these, we got nasty emails from warbird restorers.

I was watching the news one night and low and behold...
The switches were also used in a Russian armored vehicle.
I also have extra switches that I bought for building Daytona Coupes.
Mine were bought from a military surplus dealer in the US.
Send me a PM if you are interested.

I have a large quantity of the correct NOS ON/OFF iridium tipped switches. I also have NOS ON/OFF/ON switches. The problem is that the iridium tends to go bad after decades and turns to a silver appearance. Some of the switches I have still have good iridium in them.
Funny the Russian switches were mentioned as there is an interesting story behind them. During WW2 B29 bombers that had attacked Japan that were damaged and couldnt get home were diverted to Russia. Russia reverse engineered the whole aircraft, EVERYTHING including the switches! The Russian switch is on the right
