Default SAAC 47>Will it be on East Coast for 2022?

I was hoping it would be on west coat two years in a row --is that a firm rule it switches back and forth east to west every year?

What month is it?

Do they always have a swap meet?

Thanks

Default annual convention of Shelby American Automobile Club

Usually has
-banquet with guest speakers
-racetrack session, not race per se but out on the track
-swap meet of memorabilia
-car show among registered participants

I'm hoping Detroit.Maybe Ford will kick in some money. Or show the 2022 Shelby

That depends on whether I get the 70 GT350 convertible finished in time. As of right now, the plan is to drive the car to the event.

Bill

I was considering my 65 fastback as its an easier ride than the Cobra at that distance and better on gas.

Maybe we can caravan thus meet in NJ on route?

Always a possibility, hoping to work the bugs out of the convertible before then, both of them

Given Jeff's location and proximity to places like Lime Rock and Watkins Glen; and given Bill's location and proximity to places like VIR, Indianapolis, Mid Ohio and Pittsburgh, it would seem odd for them to meet in NJ to caravan to any of the places just mentioned.

On the other hand meeting somewhere in NJ and caravaning to New Jersey Motorsport Park might be a really, really short caravan together.

But meeting in NJ and perhaps caravaning to Pocono Raceway might make some sense?

Hmm...

Oh, I see the hint of west of New York State.

That seems weird to meet in NJ then.

Going via I-90 through NY? Hook up in Amsterdam (30 miles west of Albany)?
