Tonnea cover reply
Hi Jay,
Here are the answers gto your questions!
1. This tonneau will absolutely fit an FFR Cobra with factory (lower-style) seats, correct?
Yes, this cover will if the FFR Cobra roadster with single driver side roll bar. I had it made for my car but ended up putting Street Performer Seats in it so the cover need to be modified to fit. Instead of having cover modified I just had them make a new cover to fit with the high back seats. The cover for sale is brand new and has never been installed.
2. The $200 price includes all the hardware needed to install the tonneau snaps on the car, directions, and the tonneau comes with the holes & snaps already in the tonneau cover?
Yes, the price includes the tonneau cover, Lift-the-dot fasteners, Lift-the-dot posts and installation directions. This tonneau cover, just like the one you can buy from Factory Five, does not have the snaps installed or the holes punched in. You put the snaps where you want them. It's not a big deal to do. I put the cover on my car, by myself, in one afternoon.
3. Is this tonneau made of leather, if not what is it, and what is the underside like? Thanks for your time and answers - let me know and I'll contact you right away.
The cover is made of a heavy duty black vinyl with a cloth type covering on the underside. I have put over 400 mile on my car with this same cover on , driving 65 to 75 mph and have not had it make a mark on my car. This cover is made of heavier material than the FFR cover. A friend of mine had a FFR cover and it seemed too thin to me so I had this one made. Like I said in my post. If you buy it from me and with-in 5 days of receiving it, you are not happy with it, mail it back to me in it's original condition and I will mail you your money back!
If you have more questions, you can post them here or call me at 440-935-1248 if you'd like.
Thanks, Jim
