I just got a phone call from David Williams at Fastlane Classic Cars. He told me he just got his car completed last week. The new engine is a twin turbo small block. At 12 lbs of boost it makes - 831 RWHP, and at 25 lbs. of boost it makes 1200 RWHP.

He is R-E-A-D-Y for RunNGun.

He expects to run about 8 lbs of boost on the road course and 12 lbs or more for the drag race.

This will be a sight to see.

I'll be ready as well. Hopefully more so than I was at the Tulsa show. My Coupe should be much more finished at Run N Gun. I'll consider Run N Gun to be the official coming out for the JBL Coupe. Its the only one in the world, until Clois finishs his I'm sure Larry will come with me, so anyone can talk to the man that put it together. Hopefully we'll see lots more of them running around in the future. That St Louis bunch really should have a couple in the club, I know they do a lot of showing and touring (and racing). It really was unbelievable how much attention it got at the Tulsa show. And it felt pretty unbelievable during the few laps I had at Hallett. Larry did such a nice job putting it all together.

All that being said, I really can't wait to throw it into turn one coming off the long straight at Gateway to see how it feels. Will anyone have a radar gun? I want to calibrate my speedo at 140
