The detail of the fuel cap surround and hood latch is really outstanding! I didn't notice it at first looking at it on my phone but now on my computer, it's awesome! Super job!

Thanks guys. Took me 11 years to complete because had only time once a week Tuesday night.
It's a customized old BRA 289 frame and body frum UK. Selfmade front wishbones with rose joints and Jaguar XJ6 hubs and Wilwood brakes. Complete TVR Griffith 500 rear frame with Cosworth brakes and Cosworth diff. Additional tunnel tubes and rear frame. BRA 289 body modified with round cockpit edges incl. fake rivets and modified engine bay edges and trunk edges. Aluminium doors, left one with modified upper section. Engine bay, trunk, front, cockpit, wings and complete chassis with aluminium panels. Body was built with GRP "around" the doors shape. Wrong engine Buick/Rover V8 with wrong carbs Dellorto DRLA and wrong gear box LT77. Insruments like CSX 2128.
The complete build, missing the first years:

Looks great migge. I think Comp 289 cars are going to be quite popular.
You must be rather happy with the end result It's an 'Allan Grant car' replica too, so it has my attention!
Enjoy driving it and talking about it every time you stop.

Cheers,
Glen
