According the SAAC Registry, CSX3016 was totaled by Grossman at Watkins Glen in August 1966, the original drivetrain removed and the rest of the wreck sold for scrap to his mechanic who used the repaired chassis for a 1937 Ford Stock Car. Then there is all kinds of confusion over the years with CSX3106 being mixed up with "CSX3016". The scrapped CSX3016 shock tower welded onto a later CSX3xxx, and it just gets sketchier from there.. . its a ghost car. certainly not with "impeccable pedigree".

Priced way up! Priced above market for a good street car even....
