Exclamation Blown head gasket? Help!

Hello All,
I have a Street Beast new to me, many may be familiar with the car formally Earl's. Love the car. Its a 5.0 , 91 block, EFI, alum heads, 303 cam, twin turbo with 6lb boost.

Went to PBIR track last night to try it there. a few practice sessions I felt more confident and hit about 110 on the straight. temp was 200, oil temp not bad. Suddenly Huge clouds of white smoke out drivers sidepipe, but oil pressure was still good. Limped into pit and found it was steam from coolant. Came home did compression check, Compression was ok, all around 150 +-. All plugs bleached white. No water in oil. Heard some bubbles in radiator cap while checking cylinder 6. Took the EFI upper intake manifold off and it had about a pint of coolant in it. Turbos were wet inside. Most all cylinders had coolant. Really at a loss as how the fluid could get in upper manifold. Anyone have some answers for me? any tips/help will be appreciated.

It could be a cracked block. Stock 302 blocks have a tendency to split up the middle from the bottom up at about 500hp. FWIW I'd NEVER turbo charge a stock 302 block. How does the old head gasket look?

Hi,
Cylinders 5 and 6 will detonate it timing not pulled out enough under boost and have a mess. I would put head studs in and torque heads properly with O ringed head gaskets. Pull 1 1/2 degrees of timing out per lb of boost and start your initial timing at 10* stock. Turn the fuel pressure up to 43 lbs.

Is it a fairly recent build? Were the heads re-torqued after the motor was broken in after a few hundred miles? I had a fresh motor blowing coolant out of the head gaskets once at high RPM's, re-torqueing the heads fixed it. Loosened each head bolt then retorqued to spec.

Once upon a time, I had a windsor wound out, sudden engine seize, mucho smoke from both pipes. I figured the motor was toast. Towed home. Poked around a bit, out with the plugs, most cylinders had liquid in them, as did the oil pan. Everything I checked was fine, great compression everywhere. started to open up the top. Noted very little torque on all intake manifold bolts, lifted up the intake. Over the #4 cylinder, there is a coolant passage adjacent to the #4 intake passage. The 1/2" piece intake gasket had failed at that point, and allowed coolant into #4, which blew it back into the intake and all the other cylinders. After oiling all cylinders and cranking with the plugs out, I just reassembled plugs, pan, and intake. No damage whatsoever, thank my lucky stars! Kept that car about 10 years before selling it. No problems, but I checked intake manifold torque every day for a week, every month for a year, the semi-annually after that.

Yep, could be the intake gasket failing too, water flows through there as well.

The turbo is not liquid cooled is it, you may have a blown seal or?
