Club Cobra - $ Support
Guys
I figured I would remind all the users here about your support for this site.
While I was just posting I noticed that I had failed to re-up after a year of membership. We all support different organizations and clubs through each year however I will ask that you consider supporting this site as it really is a great resource in our hobby.
My participation is only as a member and I am not part of the platform itself.
Its a great place to share your car, ask questions from those that have similar issues/successes and a sounding board for help.
My guess that a little from many will keep our daily stop on the web healthy.

Concur! If you want to find out details on Jeff's front spats, do a quick search and bam, there you go. Just did that yesterday! By the way, it's posts #66 and #72 on page 4 at the below link, and don't mind staying a little while and refreshing your memory on his frame, engine, mods, etc. Great resource. Brent

Done & done, thanks Jeff for reminding everyone. Just a few dollars per month, to keep our site up & running, is a small price for everything we get out of this club (site). The ol'Brentster was just too polite to tell me to get my butt in gear, and re-up Cheers Tom.

Well said!
Ive lost track of how much invaluable information Ive asked for and received in bucket loads from this forum. It is the best forum I have come across for our hobby. There are others, but none come even close to matching Club Cobra.
There have been challenges here in the forum; in fact, I have a second ID ( xb-60_2) that I had to create at one stage because I could not login as xb-60 for more than a month. I thought the forum was going to fold
.so that highlights the need for adequate financial support to help keep it running.
Going back to the invaluable information available
.. Ill give an example and point the finger at Jeff. I needed accurate information on the 289 dash layout. Jeff sent me a tracing of Goldies dash layout, which was invaluable information. I have had similar extremely useful support from other Club members as well. You know who you are
If we want to continue to have access to the wealth of information contained in Club Cobra, we need to keep it healthy.
Cheers!
Glen

I know, right Glen?
I'm in! Thanks for the reminder, Jeff. It would be a great loss not to have this resource.

If you login and click the UserCP menu link at the upper right should present a bright green link for 'Be A CC Contributor'.

I searched on the home page for a long time, and I just could not find it! I happened to notice it while in a thread, and realized that you have to go into a thread, to the forums list, or follow Bret's instructions to be able to see the "Be A CC Contributor" link under your name. Or you can just click the link I post herein to make it easy on yourself!
Perhaps that is a setting that can be altered by a moderator. It might help to generate more support for the site.

An easy way is to just click on the rotating gold star located next to a contributor's ID in a post.
That takes you straight there.
Can be as little as 30 bucks for one year

Well, I don't post a lot of info on this site, but I do spend my share of time on it. High time I kicked in a few bucks myself. Thanks for the reminder.

That was easy. Happy to help. Been using this site for 18 years and never considered being a contributor. Shame on me!!

What a great start gentleman, for less than a full tank of fuel (or a Latte or two a month) we can keep our site up & going Paul, I would like to thank you for your pledge of $3K, Brent must know our financial worth How about a Telethon ?? I just watched the full (24 hours of LeMans) so I'm good for at least 24hours Why did the Chicken cross the road ? Because there was a den of "Nag & Nagina's" on this side, look it up boys. Cheers Tom.

Well, I don't yet own one but I have warned my wife it is coming sooner than later!
Glad to be a small part of the larger whole!
