Bilstein shocks install

Ok I am installing a set of Bilsteins, would anyone have an idea about how far I should run the collar up 1" 2" to start the fine tuning. I was thinking of running them up tight then putting the tires on dropping the car down and turning the collars down from there, any thoughts would greatly be appreciated thank you Michael. Tires are Good Year BB

I'd start them set at midpoint and go from there.

When I replaced mine, I turned the rears about an inch from the bottom and left the fronts all the way at the bottom. Then settled the car and began the final measurements for ride height.

....then put the car on scales because with all your measuring you are still not even close to getting it right

What I quickly realized while measuring is the body on my car is not symmetrical. So even though it "looked" right the corner weights were way off.
Best $100.00 bucks I spent.
