COTA crew needed for SVRA National Championships
Greetings,
I have received an invite to compete at COTA in Austin, Texas for the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) National Championship from November 2-5 with my 289 FIA Cobra (the Superformance Riverside Racer car). Rick (Mark IV) has offered his transport vehicle and trailer. My trailer is open and it tends to snow in November in upstate NY. It will be a solid 2 day drive there and back for me. None of my local crew can travel for the race. There are a wide variety of vintage race cars competing there.
Anyone interested in crewing for me? I need somebody who is mechanically inclined, as it is a royal pain racing and performing your own repairs, and it would be nice to be able to focus on the racing aspect. I will need at least one person to travel with me and share the driving; some crew could be from the local area. I will cover your entrance fees and supply you with lunches, etc.
Let me know if anyone is interested. trying to improve over the cars first race at Watkins Glen this past weekend. Links to the car's race below.

If the second link does not work, go to youtube and search Watkins Glen US Vintage Grand Prix video 2.
Thanks. For anyone riding with me, that would be a commitment from Oct 31-November 7. We can share a hotel room on the way down and back, I'll cover the travel expenses.
Jim
