Default Lost a hub cap

The other day I went to a Haggerty Insurance sponsored track day at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac Michigan. I gave the tires and brakes a good workout on the 3rd track session, then parked back in the paddock area. As I was lowering the tire pressure for the drive home, the front-left hub cap went "pop" and fell on the ground. It was quite warm to the touch because of the hard braking and I believe pressure built up in the hub and blew it off.

Two questions:

1. How do you keep this caps on the car? Drill a vent hole and plug it with grease? or take them all off before you track the car? ...

2. Where can you buy replacement caps?

Most likely the hub got warm enough to soften the O-ring causing the loss. You can put a couple daps of silicone adhesive on the O-ring which will retain the cap but still allow removal.

We suggest removing the caps before track time. We do have caps in stock.
