Default Lemans Blue

Put my roadster in the shop for body/paint work and I really need to see a "live" example of Lemans Blue. Any one in the DFW area that I could look at? Any one?

Thanks in advance,

Tickwomp

Yeah, I think you mean Guardsman Blue...LeMans refers to the stripes

My Street car was painted by Connecticut Custom Car. They painstakingly tried to find the correct Guardsman Blue, which there can be some different varieties. I think they came up with this color as being a very common one used by Shelby.

I'll post some pics of the rear of the car since there is so much paint in the rear and a lot of different angles....you can really see how the light hits it. If you like the color, I'm sure you could purchase the paint from them.

LeMans blue is different than Guardsman blue. Shelby offers both colors for their continuation Cobras. I don't know what the LeMans blue paint code is.

CSX4017 is LeMans Blue...........I believe Guardsman Blue was the primary color for his Race Car Team FIA Cobras......Superformance has a Dark ( Midnight Blue ) option. There are CC members that know the vintage of LeMans Blue ???

Here's a link to Shelby's PPG codes, including Lemans Blue and Guardsman Blue.

Thank you...sorry to side track as well. But those are 6-pin Halibrand knock-offs with 235's up front and 295/50s in the rear. I just bought the Avons in the group buy, and I am really looking forward to putting them on....
