Sammy the day of the Drags I left the car cover on it while we were gone, when we got back Brad was shooting car surfaces for temps, my seats were more hot than the pavement !!! I can fix it but it will be a winter project & I am afraid I will get into my paint since the dash fit was so tight.
Thanks Again Sam for cooking for us ( I guess I won't blame You for cooking Those Triple XXX Sausage)!!!!!!

Tulsa, First Timer with TCC
Francie and I had a great time at the Tulsa show. I had broken my motor at the May High Speed Touring event at Hallett and had just got it back from the motor builder on Wed. before the show. So, I was still in the break-in stage. Drove the car to Hallett and to the Cruise. We had a very good time and enjoyed meeting all the TCC folks attending. Hope to be at the October event I understand that is held in Conroe, plus maybe some other events closer to home and back at Tulsa next year.

Have you considered coming to Run N Gun? Most of the Texas guys that go to Hallett also go to Run N Gun. Plus there is about 60 other people from all over the world that will be at Run N Gun. See our web site: www.runngun.net
...or give me a call my contact info is on the web site.

RnG
Hi Clois, Not sure...budget and schedule may not permit. The new motor just about zapped my free money for this year. I'm not that good and really prefer to drive at my speed and comfort level. I would like to try some of the scca parking lot courses just against the clock and the cones. That seems like it would be fun for an o/f like me. We already have some other trips on the books for later this year in Branson. Would like to take the US-82 route to Eurika Springs when the fall colors are out.

thanks for sharing! looks like a really fun time, and possibly the hottest temps it's ever been! remember my phyllis diller look. ugh.
well it was bittersweet for me not being there; miss my buddies, not the car.
perhaps i can make another hanging out visit sometime, maybe slightly further south!
I can only imagine that grueling heat from the track. wow!
ya'll be good and thanks again for posting the pics. K

They are set for the weekend of October 16th - 18th.
Call the KOA at 936-582-1200 to make reservations.
I've heard it's a great time.

KOA Info for Oct 16 - 18
Tried that and talked with Jan. She gave me a name of Mark Bishop as the contact person. Don't have much to go on. Do you know him or have any other info?
Thanks

Hey RR,
Here is another thought if you are interested:
http://clubcobra.com/forums/showthre...threadid=99859
Some of us here in Tulsa may venture over for the Saturday leg of the cruise.
