Removing Painted Spinners
I'm a newbie to spinners and have painted rims and spinners. All my research only talks about chrome spinners. Looking for advice on how to remove painted spinners without damaging the finish. Thanks!

The spinner removal tool that Cobra Valley sells would be gentle. A bit costly, but does a good job.

You need patrickt's spinner removal tool. On sale now for $4,999.00 and, as Alfred E. Neuman used to say, "Cheap."

No matter what tool you use that makes contact it will mar the paint. They weren't painted for a reason. Take them off and unpaint them and don't worry about it the next time.

Just hammer them off. It's a car.

So the question is, why are the "spinners" painted?

put a piece of rubber hose over the ear and then lead hammer. I have had powdercoated spinners before but then went to centerlocks because I take wheels off so often when tracking the car
