The number is 2285 red silver stripes about 13000 miles has a roush 402sr and it has power steering . I don't know much about that engine but it does seem powerful in that small car. Olthoff racing sold it new one owner I like it

Olthoff has held events at VIR, or used to. Call Dennis. I've done 2 w/ #1855.
There have been events at Carolina Motor Sports Park too. Watched while many SPF owners tracked.
You should be able to find info on the motor but not sure how much Roush will tell you. The 402 was a popular option during the production timing for your car.
Check out Second Strike - the Superformance Owners Group Mike compiles SPF info and has an excellent owners manual. Look for Blas' wiring diagrams here on CC.

There are Cobra clubs in Raleigh and Charlotte. Check back on this site and they will post when they have meetings scheduled.
I have an Aurora 289 Slabside in Greensboro. There is also a SAAC group in North Carolina that has events several times a year.

Sounds real nice! I have the Roush 402R and I've never had any issues with it. It pulls like a freight train.
Like Jim says in his post check out SCOF (Superformance Cobra Owners Forum) A wealth of information and support for your SPF.
Enjoy the ride!

There is a pretty active Raleigh Cobra Club. Mostly FFR cars, but I have a Superformance FIA. PM me and I’ll forward the club contact info.

Hello all.
Living in Ocean Isle Beach. Moved from Ca about 6 months ago. First time out on the east coast a fuel line leaked and I had a small fire. I have very little damage that will require about a pint of paint but the front half of the car will have to be cleared.
Ocean Isle Beach and surrounding area are only collision shops and don’t want to deal with cut and buffing a Cobra.
Dennis Olthoff is swamped for months. Hagerty is willing to pay but finding a shop that does speciality cars do not exist here because it’s a retirement area from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington. Shop owners claim they are so busy that the time the repair takes they just don’t have. My opinion, they are afraid to touch a Cobra because of the perfect job it requires.. anyone have any knowledge of shops in Charlotte, Raleigh or anywhere in this area? Tom
