its sure a cool setup for sure!!! but im not going to put my trust in a belt to oil my engine ill stick with a forged steel shaft,ijust have to much riding onthe line for that, of corse if ther is no ground clearence thats different i guess iv seen the belts break to many times and ruin those high dollar parts

All engines equiped with a dry sump system use this design. The belts with square tooth are very strong as well as timing belts that are used in modern engines. For security, you just have to replace it every year and to check from time to time the belt tension
