I used some masking tape that I used when painting the car to protect teh rear fenders from rock chips. Worked great. I was not smart enough to also tape the front of the Cobra - now there are many hundreds of small chips from the trip. What the hell - we built this car to be a driver! And since I painted it the first time I guess I can always touch it up if I really want to...
