Carroll Shelby's persona 427 Cobra at his shop in Gardena, July, 2002 (part of the SAAC "Magical Mystery Tour" of SA facilities in So Cal).

Note unusual roll-bar. Car is equipped with a dual quad 428 PI and C6 automatic. When I last saw it in Vegas (1997) is was bare aluminum (undergoing restoration). When I saw it in Santa Fe Springs in the 80's, it was Guardsman Blue. He has had this one since new.

Shelby is noted for painting the same car different colors. That way he has the appearance of more cars. Or is he just into fashion?

Those are the original 'Sunburst" wheels designed by Peter Brock. The Dual Paxton car is gone.

My roll bar is similar to that one. Maybe my car is more original than I thought. Except for all the other parts on it.
