After Scarab #1's racing days were over, Lance Reventlow had Phil Remington & crew convert it to a street car, so he could terrorize the Beverly Hills crowd. This car is now owned by Rob Walton and is restored to its original, track configuration--

Snake- when you scan a printed photo, put your scanner on "de-screen" to remove the grain pattern. Thats a great photo that I'd love to have if you can re scan it....

Brett, thanks for the tip. If I ever read any of the instructions that come with my computer accessories I'd probably do myself a lot of good...

Now if I can get my scanner to work (spent an hour last night uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, etc. to no avail) I'll try this one again...I think Scarabs in general are pretty stunning but in the "Street" configuration the car is pretty hard to beat--

the Scarab predates the Cobra by a couple of years?...what a shape...reminds me of the Chaparral 1? and later the ill fated Cheetah...the Scarab being a work art...the others just...ohhhh...mama...

What a wonderful period of time for sports/racers.

Great photo, have not seen that shot of the street car before,
