Not sure from the pic but if this is not coated steel or stainless steel, the inside surface will rust over a short time period and rust particles will plug your fuel filter and or pump, carb/injectors, be careful! Even the weld rod you used must be corrosion proof. If it was mine, I would send it out to get a high quality ceramic coating and call it good for the next ten years.
