Has been happening to me frequently for months. I just give up after the first occurrence. Next time I try, it then sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. No rhyme or reason to it that I can see.

On an FFR, its a very simple task to raise the steering shaft/wheel. You can just put spacers under the upper steering shaft bearing block. I've raised mine 3/4", and it made a big difference. ...

I don't know where you can get that particular design. If you need something quick in the mean time, I just took a black welding blanket and sewed up some "sleeves" which slip easily over the side...

Yes, that's exactly what I did. Found some black welders blanket, sewed up a couple of sleeves, and keep one down behind the seat on both sides. My wife would definitely get burned if I didn't use...
